Lucan

Lucan is the term used to describe the races resulting from the convergent evolution of multiple species into a form of similar intelligence and a similar general body shape. Lucan is therefore not a single species, but rather a group of different species that have developed certain traits in common.
Etymology and definition
The exact origin of the term lucan is uncertain, as it has always been used by the Aracath people to refer to their kind, as opposed to lycan, meaning the therian animals.
